Some Videos for Dad, who we miss HEAPS

We spent the evening with Mark's sister Sharon and her family. Keiran was kind enough to share his motorbike with his cousins.

Joel having his turn on the bike.

Uncle Alistair thought Rachel was destined to fall off as she went too fast. A bit like her snow skiing.

Amazingly Matthew had a turn, but only once. Anna-Marie was only able to get this one short video of him.

Another Day in Wellington

Matthew and Joel slept over at Aunty Leanne and Uncle Chris' house which they loved. Uncle Chris is a Star Wars fan so the boys have a great time playing with all his Star Wars stuff. We went back into Wellington to pick them up and spent the day with my sister Leanne. You can see Wellington City in the background. It really is a lovely place on a beautiful day.
Having fun with the camera.

Exploring the rocky shore.

A Day in Wellington

Wellington is New Zealand's capital city so we spent a day visiting some of the interesting places in the city. This is the children outside Parliament. Joel even got to sit in the Prime Minister's chair in the debating chamber.
Walking from one thing to the other along Queens Wharf.

Matthew cuddling some penguins at our National Museum, Te Papa.

Some Maori carvings

A Rugby Game

The day we got back to Wellington (where my parents live) my Dad took the children to Westpac Stadium for a rugby game. It was a wet and cold night but the children had a great time.

Some Random Hastings Photos

We enjoyed our time in Hastings spending time with friends and trying to do some things that we have missed. This is Matthew picking apples at a friends orchard.
We stayed on the campus of our home church which is an old camp. This is the kids playing on the creek.

This is a hill just outside Hastings called Te Mata Peak. It is also nick named The Sleeping Giant. Starting from the right you can make see a face and then a body, sort of.

Going for a walk just out of Hastings with some friends.

It was a great blessing to be there for Nicole's baptism. It was a highlight of our time in Hastings to hear and see her publicly declare her desire to follow Christ.

The famous New Zealand pavlova.

The Midnight Cockroach Drama

This is why you should always travel with your husband. We do not miss Hasting's cockroaches.
