Southern Seminary Family Fun Night

At the beginning of the fall the seminary hosts a family festival. Everything was free: Drinks, dinner, sweets and all the activities. As you can see there were even table and chairs set out for you to eat at. You could beat up your brother in the boxing pit or get one of the professors wet and even have an air balloon ride. It was a great night, enjoyed by all. With the girls is Victoria who also lives at Village Manor. She has become a good friend of both of the girls. This was all held on the rather large seminary lawn.

Our New Home(2)

The Lord has continued to provide for us as we have been setting up our home. Most of the furniture in the photos was donated and we only had to buy a few items new. Something important to Matthew was replacing his much loved car mat. As you can see we were able to do that and it takes up all the remaining floor room. I have also attached a photo of the Nissan Quest which I accidently left off the last post.

Bernheim Forest Trip

On Friday we went on a family outing to Bernheim Forest which is about a 20 minute drive south from Louisville. It was a beautiful place and we saw lots of new wildlife. We arrived there during a thunder and lightning storm (we have had at least one each week) but the skies cleared and we were able to enjoy the surroundings.

Our New Home

We have been able to start school thanks to a new table. We also have a new car, a Nissan Quest 2000. This is outside at Village Manor. We are really enjoying the village with its established trees and squirrels and rabbits. It is also a real community and the children have already made friends.
Matthew is on his new bike. There are lots of paths and a basketball court close so the children are enjoying rollerblading around. Joel on our new computer. Notice the New Zealand silver fern in the background and clock which has the New Zealand time on it.
