On our way home we drove home via Lake Tahoe. Beautiful!

The Grand Canyon

I have always wanted to see the Grand Canyon and I was not disappointed, it was amazing, in fact awesome is a better way to describe it. We only saw such a small part of it and yet it was so vast. Great to see another wonder of God's creation.

The Hoover Dam

Just out of Las Vegas is the Hoover Dam. It is an incredible place, well worth the visit.

Ben, Chelsea, Noah and baby Eden, hiding under Chelsea's jacket for warmth. It was so much fun to travel with the Saunders. Their children did so well in the motorhome and on our day trips.

Las Vegas

We have arrived in New Zealand safely but before I post about that I have to update with our last few weeks in California. We headed off on a road trip with Ben and Chelsea, all 10 of us in a motorhome lent to us by a kind friend from their church. First stop was Las Vegas. We arrived at night and drove down the strip, had lunch at Circus, Circus the next morning and started walking down the strip to see the sights in the daylight. It wasn't long before we decided it was not a city to visit with children and decided to get out of there. They certainly have their reasons for calling it Sin City.
